As a guest, it is easy to make smart environmental choices when you dine at a Sodexo café. We know today's college students want to do the right thing for the planet and we also understand you lead busy lives, so your Sodexo chefs and managers do a lot of the work for you behind the scenes!
From purchasing local seasonal produce whenever possible to reducing inorganic and organic waste, your campus team is dedicated to providing you with an exceptional dining experience that is good for you and good for the planet.

While your Sodexo team works hard behind the scenes, they also count on student engagement and enthusiasm to spread the word about what you're doing together on your campus. Being well and eating well means becoming aware of choices and making the
right decisions to achieve a better today and a better tomorrow. Your Sodexo
dining team is committed to offering you a wide range of options for a healthy
dining experience. From recipes that include the most nutritious mix of
ingredients to offering educational resources for positive lifestyle habits,
healthy options are the result of a team dedicated to advancing the well-being
of the entire campus community.
Another important part of our focus on health and wellness is the use of
seasonal menus, featuring fresh and healthy ingredients - many of which are
grown by local or regional farmers. Every season has its own unique produce
that is showcased in delicious signature dishes to highlight the distinct
flavors and natural appeal of seasonal items.
For students who have special dietary and nutritional needs we have
informational resources and customized menus to address your needs. These menus
meet the strictest compliance standards, without sacrificing flavor, texture or

app is the leader in its category, allowing the user to apply nutrition and
exercise information to guide healthier decisions in real time. Create your free
account at http://myfitnesspal.com then search “Sodexo
Campus” recipes or scan the item’s barcode.
Mindful is our internal wellness program designed to promote a
healthy lifestyle. It is a multi-tiered program offering a variety of healthy
menu choices developed by a combination of Dieticians and Executive Chefs. A
series of Heatlh & Wellness learning brochures are available for staff,
students and guests. The nurtition criteria for an item to be mindful are:
less than 30% calories from fat;
no more than 3 grams saturated fat;
less than 100 mg of cholesterol;
less than 850 mg of sodium;
less than 600 calories;
at least 3 grams of fiber.
For Your Community
Your Sodexo dining team is made up of people right from your local community
who are proud to serve you every day.
From menu and event planning, to community food drives and wellness
education, your local dining team wants to make sure you have an exceptional
experience whenever you dine with us.
Sodexo is committed to fighting hunger and malnutrition by
engaging the entire Sodexo community including employees, customers, clients and
suppliers. 17 million children in the United States are at-risk of hunger. Join us and together we can end childhood hunger.
Sodexo is also committed to supporting local community development
and sourcing local, seasonal and sustainably grown or raised products. We
proudly purchase products from over 700 local farms to feed students and guests
in the same state or region.
